International Care Leavers Convention 2020

Udayan Care (India), SOS Children’s Villages, University of Hildesheim (Germany), Kinderperspectief (Netherlands) came together along with Care Leavers Networks from different parts of the world, to convene a Virtual Care Leavers Convention in October – November 2020.

The convention was planned with the objective to connect Care Leavers internationally and enable their coming together on a common and safe platform to learn, share and exchange their experiences, knowledge and challenges. The whole convention was designed as not just as a one day event but a series of pre-events leading to a three day main convention comprising of interface sessions with service providers, researchers and policy makers working with and for Care Leavers.
