The second day of the Care Leavers Festival 2022 consisted of talks about approaches to employment from care leavers in Egypt, Germany, as well as an address by a reputed paediatric neuroradiologist in the UK.
The Wateneya Society in Egypt talked about their holistic approach to finding employment for care leavers in Egypt, as well as discussing their leadership program, to empower care leavers to build their employability skills.
A panel discussion was held to expand on the topic from a multinational perspective, with care experienced youths providing their insights and experiences from multiple countries.
